Creating personas in a nutshell In general, the process of creating a persona is similar to our common thought experiment. You have to go all the way from a very broad and general view of market segments. At the very beginning you ask yourself very broad and general questions. Who are my potential customers? Who could use a given product group? Who is interested in issues surrounding this product group? and who doesn't know that they need them but still needs them? Then within these large groups you need to identify smaller groups of recipients with quite clear characteristics motivations and needs.
